Educational Social Website

Educational Website Designer

Educational Website DesignTruthPick.net’s educational social network allows visitors log in and build a personal belief system and to pass judgement on other people’s beliefs whilst promoting their cause online.

The Problem: The TruthPick team needed to develop a educational version of facebook where users can browse a database full of theories and opinions and then add those which they believe to be the truth, to a graphical representation of their personal belief system.

The Solution: Building on the ASP.NET based Telligent cms, I provided project management and bespoke web design and development services to help deliver compelling functionality. The website allows users to:
  • Browse a large database of theories and opinions
  • Create and save a graphical personal belief system
  • Promote their own cause with social bookmarking
  • Grow a following from subscribers of similar beliefs

The Outcome: TruthPick.net is still in beta mode so new features (and visitors personal belief systems) are being added all the time. Building on a growing userbase and database of beliefs as well as evolving a range of online tools to help pick and post the truth! This is one of my personal projects created whilst learning ASP.Net programming.
