Launching online products with Brighton Marketing Agency
The Rocket Marketing Group's portfolio of online membership clubs provide increased customer loyalty and incremental revenue for a range of clients around the UK including TV channels such as Ideal World, JML and Pitch TV.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director of the 100 strong marketing agency in Brighton, I worked alongside Rocket's Marketing Manager Alan Saunders to monetize new online markets. Employed as a web developer, I soon took on the responsibility of managing all of the agency's portfolio of websites and digital marketing campaigns during a 15 month period of rapid online growth.
Having presented a full internet marketing strategy and provided a plan of action to the company directors, I was asked to implement my recommended campaigns and to advise the marketing team on how to best use the web and discover and profit from newly tapped markets. It worked.

I developed the functionality rich 123Save website and for a day per week, over a 6 month period, optimised the site to bring over 200 natural search visitors each day. Ranking high in the first page of Google UK search results for competitive queries including: Butlins discount, Schuh discount, English Heritage discount and more. Pay Per Click Management
Having made suggestions to the 241 Hotel Club PPC campaign, I was asked to manage the company AdWords account and advise on keyword research, split testing, bidding, conversion rate optimisation and paid search traffic analysis.

Website Creation and Management
Creation of 4 websites using a variety of content management systems to integrate with Rocket's customer management software as well as website updates, maintenance and traffic reporting:
Creation of over 100 html newsletters, eshots and press releases, plus delivery of over 100,000 of them to segmented lists using dotmailer, mailchimp and great graphics by Rocket's lead designers Gary Simpson and Becky Saunders, see the images above.
Strategy, Planning and Analysis
Seeking out new online markets to further monitise Rocket's existing off-line products was a high priority for the expanding marketing firm.
By building Rocket's latest membership club website as both an automated vehicle to deliver discount voucher products and also as a tool to help collect valuable market research data allows the company to make better informed decisions with regard to their entire range of savings clubs - simply by monitoring 123Save's web traffic statistics and using the automated website as a complete marketing tool.
Alan Saunders of the Rocket Marketing Group saw revenue generated solely online double 5 times during my management of the sites and was able to use the new marketing intelligence gathered to better allocate resources within Rocket's growing team.
Having helped the company double daily visits to their portfolio of sites, I chose to continue in a purely freelance capacity in order to free up more time to provide more clients with similar services. Rocket's Chief Andy Huggins provided these kind words about my work.
